  • Information you give us: account credentials, gender, date of birth, optional bio, interests, and photos
  • Information from your activity: logins, features used, searches, clicks, and interactions
  • Information from your device: hardware and software data, device ID and type, advertising identifier, settings, and optional location
  • Purchase information: records of subscriptions and in-app purchases you make, such as product IDs, transaction IDs, purchase and renewal dates, and subscription status. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we do not collect or store your full payment card or bank details.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Advertising

AfterMatch is supported in part by advertising. We use Google AdMob and its mediation partners to display ads within the app. These advertising partners may collect and use device identifiers (such as your device advertising ID / IDFA), IP address, and general usage information to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.

  • On iOS, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can change this at any time in your device settings.
  • In regions such as the EEA and UK, we present a consent request (via Google's consent management) before serving personalized ads, in line with applicable law.
  • You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
  • You can remove ads entirely by purchasing our optional ad-free subscription.

Analytics

We use standard analytics tools to understand usage patterns, diagnose problems, and improve the experience. These tools collect aggregated and device-level usage data.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

AfterMatch operates globally. Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

Your Regional Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
